Composition consists of properly distributing each and every one of the elements that make up the representation, taking into account the color, size, textures, shades, space and general forms that will be implemented.

The course aims to develop the knowledge and understanding of sculpture through the elements that make up its composition, still maintaining the presence of a live model to keep the human body as the central line of work. This creative process, organisation and definition of the plastic expression will help the student work on the sculptural work as a compositional adaptation of a creative idea around the human body.

The final piece will be reproduced in bronze. Every Monday during a month, the students will visit the Vulcano Foundry to learn the complex process of this type of reproduction: wax modeling, review, sprues and vents, casting and final touch ups.
