Still-Life Sculpture

At the start of the Still-Life Sculpture course, the students copy different parts of Michelangelo’s David (nose, eye, ear, mouth) in clay. After these exercises with small parts of a face, students will progress to the sculpture of a skull and then proceed to perform their first portrait exercise from a model.


The Still-Life Sculpture course includes the following exercises:


The Still-Life exercises are presented chronologically from left to right. The student will start the course working with the Cast sculpture exercises. When the exercise is completed at the end of the term, the student can prepare the moulds of his/her works to preserve them.
