Portrait Sculpture

Sculpture portrait course with a model, based on the figurative tradition of the great masters.

The course will focus on the process of constructing a portrait in three dimensions with clay. This process, paired with different methods of observation, gives the student the skills to start understanding proportions, gesture and structure to reach the maximum similarity to the model’s expression and capture the essence of the person portrayed.

  • A minimum of 8 students is required to open this workshop.
  • Places will be assigned following a strict order of enrollment.
  • A maximum of 20 students.
  • Each group of 4 students will share the same model for the sessions.
